Dr. Christoph Hauer is the Head of the Christian-Doppler-Laboratory for Sediment research and management at the Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and River Research at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna (BOKU), Austria. He has experienced over 15 years in interdisciplinary research linking hydraulics and sediment transport to aquatic and semiaquatic biota with focus on hydropower plant management.
