Dr. Hani Iman is a hydro-environmental engineering specialist, Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology (Iran), and Adjunct Professor of Water Resources Engineering at the University of Ottawa. She earned her PhD in Civil Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology in 2012, where she advanced the numerical modeling of oil spill dispersion in marine environments. Her expertise includes computational hydraulics, coastal engineering, climate prediction, sediment and pollutant transport, and the application of machine learning in water and environmental systems. Dr. Iman brings more than 20 years of experience in research, teaching, and multidisciplinary hydraulic and environmental projects.
