About

I am a senior researcher and working for the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR). I am coordinating different governmental and externally founded projects nationally and developing and maintaining internal and also external partnerships. I am the head Irrigation & Water Harvesting Research Program under Natural Resources Research Management Directorate. This position involves coordination of irrigation and water resource management and identification of problems (water productivity, use efficiency & scarcity, drainage & salinity, water optimization & allocation, moisture stress & drought, climate change, etc.) and develops & plans scientific methodologies to get the solutions.
