Abstract: This paper presents an estimation of the flow field at the air-water interface past a semi-circular cylinder. The surface water flow behind the cylinder is observed using a four-camera system operating at 90 frames per second. The field of view of the water surface is divided into a grid of sub-regions, each represented by its center point. These surface points are tracked in an image sequence, and their 3D coordinates are determined using the calibrated camera network. The results demonstrate that the proposed method effectively captures both velocity and vorticity fields of periodic vortex shedding at the air-water interface. Furthermore, the multiple-camera system enables the assessment of water surface deformation in the wake region behind the bluff body.
