Abstract: Suspended Particulate Matter (SPM) measurements are a very important challenge of operational flow monitoring which was addressed by the ANR project MESURE (2017-2020) using multifrequency hydro-acoustic observations. After a first prototyping phase, Ubertone released a wide band ABS (Acoustic Backscattering System), the UB-SediFlow, for suspended sediment concentration (SSC) estimation. Its first campaigns (Fischer et al., 2022) proved it to be a quickly deployable gauging solution, with real-time data visualisation, improving knowledge of sand flux spatially and temporally and thus optimising the number of samples on site. It is now necessary to test further and improve this processing for robustness and more rivers. In this paper, we present the latest measurements: on the Arc River last June 2024.
