A HPC Distributed-Heterogeneous Shallow Water Solver for Tsunami Modelling

Abstract: The objective of this work is to present a solver for hyperbolic partial differential equations following a unified object-oriented CPU+GPU framework, augmented with an inter-device communication enabling both coarse and fine-grain parallelism. The application is tsunami run-up in urban meshes, using shallow-water equations.
