Bobby holds a doctoral degree (2019) in Computational Hydraulics/Hydrodynamics with Parallel Computing (hybrid OpenMP-MPI) from Chair for Computation in Engineering (Prof. Ernst Rank), Technical University of Munich (Germany) and a bachelor's (2010) and a master's (2011) degree both with cumlaude/first-class honor predicate from the Department of Civil Engineering of Bandung Institute of Technology (Indonesia). He joined Parahyangan Catholic University (Indonesia) as a Junior Lecturer (2012-2015) and in 2020 as an Assistant Professor. Additionally, he served as a Freelance Expert for various river & coastal projects. Currently, he is working as a Researcher at Hiroshima University (Japan) in Hydrodynamics and Sediment Transport Modeling for Nature-Based Solutions (currently with GPU programming). Bobby is also interested in enhancing numerical modeling results with data assimilation and AI.
