About

Dr. Muste is Research Engineer and Adjunct Professor at The University of Iowa. His research area spans experimental river hydraulics and development of watershed data/information management systems, sensors and sensor networks, and their implementation in research and education on sustainable use of water and land resources. Focal interests include acoustic and image-based instrumentation, uncertainty analysis, and investigation of sediment-transport in rivers using laboratory and in-situ measurements. Dr Muste is author or co-author of more than 200 technical papers and 75 reports. He is technical expert for UNESCO and World Meteorological Organization in the area of hydrometry. He was awarded with the IAHR Fellow member recognition in 2023.
