Alessio Radice is a Associate Professor (National Scientific Qualification for full professorship 2020) of Hydraulics at the Politecnico di Milano since 2014. The research activity is mostly related to river hydraulics, sediment transport, and flood risk assessment. Roles at the Politecnico di Milano: responsible for the Mountain Hyraulics Lab at the Lecco campus; member of the board of professors of the Ph.D. programme in Environmental and Infrastructure Engineering; member of the Teaching committee of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Past Chair of the IAHR-TC on Experimental Methods and Instrumentation. Associate Editor for the Journal Hydrology (MDPI). Scientific reviewer for numerous journals. Teaching activity in the area of Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics.
