Assistant Professor in Civil and Agricultural Engineering at Universidad Nacional de Colombia and a researcher at the HYDS group, with a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering and over 15years of experience in water and environmental engineering. My work focuses on groundwater hydrodynamics, hydrogeochemistry, and numerical modeling in complex systems such as fractured rock masses and tropical basins. I’ve contributed to applied projects in hydrogeology, hydrology, and hydraulics for both public and private sectors, including environmental licensing, infrastructure projects (e.g. La Línea and Sumapaz tunnels), and early warning systems. I’m passionate about sustainable water resource management and data-driven approaches. I have international research experience in France (Université de Rennes 1), and have presented in AGU, IAH, and IAHR. I work with MODFLOW, FEFLOW, HydroGeoSphere, Python, R, MATLAB, and GIS.
