About
Civil Engineer, Water Resources Engineering Specialist, GIS Technologist, and Master in Hydraulic and Hydrological Engineering. Experience as consultant, supervisor of studies and designs and designer of civil works, developing tasks of sizing, implementation, and modeling of hydraulic works for road drainage projects, urban drainage, bridge sizing, erosion control with hydraulic works, torrent control, threat, vulnerability and flood risk studies and torrential flood, design of aqueducts and sewers, hydrosanitary facilities and fire networks, among others. Currently, Assistant University Professor, teaching courses in Fluid Mechanics, Hydrology, Hydraulics, and Flood and Debris Flow Hazard Assessment in the undergraduate programs of Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering, including their respective practices and laboratories. At the graduate level, I teach Applied Hydrology and Flood and Debris Flow Hazard Assessment in the programs of the Specialization in Water Resources Engineering (EIRH) and the Master’s in Hydraulic and Hydrological Engineering (MIHH). Member of the Hydraulics and Hydrology Research Group, where I participate in the formulation of research projects, as well as in trainings, conferences, and national and international mobilities, all related to water resources. I stand out for my ability to work in teams in interdisciplinary environments, my innovative approach to technical solutions, my leadership in executing complex hydraulic projects, my constant pursuit of learning and researching solutions developed worldwide, and my focus on improving community resilience and the safety of critical infrastructure. All of this is applied to consulting, teaching, and research. Spanish (native), English (IELTS-C1), and French (DELF-B2).
