Abstract: In collaboration of the riparian countries Germany, Switzerland and Austria, a common Online data base has been developed, in which all relevant meteorological, hydrological and water quality data of Lake Constance are collected. In an interdisciplinary research project, various partner institutions have joined forces in developing a numerical model system coupling a meteorological, a hydrodynamic and a water quality model. In combination with the database, a suitable and practiceoriented Online Information System has been developed and tested successfully.
