Abstract: The test study has been conducted on the hydraulic and sediment problems for the structures of diversion open channel. The layout scheme, intake capacity, gate opening and sectional shape of those structures have been investigated and the measures for preventing from deposition has been suggested in this report. As shown by the study results, the selected layout scheme of the intake and the channel can fundamentally meet the intake requirement. Sediment problems can be solved essentially. The measure of high pressure water jet for washing out the deposit in channel is suggested.
