Abstract: Da Xiao Ling River Fan on the southeast of the Jin Zhou City of China is the area with aboundant groundw ater resources in Liao Xi. Foreshowing and estimating sea water intrusion is the most im portant problem of the management and protection of groundwater resources in the fan, which needs to be resolved. On the basis of conceptualizing the hydrogeological condition of the fan and building the groundwater flow model, we set up the sharp interface sea water intrusion model. The calculation results of steady interface and unsteady interface sea water intrusion model show s that the simulation model is able to reflect the sea water intrusion range in Da Xiao Ling River Fan and it's annual dynamic drift quite well. So this model can be used for the managem ent and protection of groundwater quantity and quality.
