Abstract: Laser induced fluorescence (LIF) combined with tomography is used to construct three-dimensional images of concentration fields in turbulent flows. The spacial resolution allows to observe scales as small as the viscous length, and the time resolution opens new perspectives for the study of the development of such fields in time.
