DS-30 Multipoint Wave Height Gauge

Abstract: The paper presents the principle, and function of data acquisition and processing, as well as main performance indexes of DS-30 Multipoint Wave Height Gauge. The instrument is developed at Department of Hydraulics, Institute of Water Conservancy and Hydroelectric Power Research (IWHR) in China. It is not only suited for genera l wave tests, but also for the measurements of dynamic water level, such as dam-break, landslide surge, floodcourse test and so on. The most distingushing features of the instrument include stable performance, plenty measuring channels, and extremely low cost. And otherwise, software function is rather powerful. The program with menu structure is very convenient for operator and makes less errors. The instrument has been using for many years in more than ten large hydraulic laboratories in china. It has been proved to be of reliable quality and excel lent performance.
