Abstract: A general strip-integral method was developed which is capable of predicting velocity-fields of different flow situations. This paper gives the method of solution for wall jets on flat and curved surfaces. The combination of the strip-integral method, in a curvilinear system, with the k-ε and the algebraic stress turbulence models provided such a method. The algebraic stress model (ASM) was found to give better agreement with experiments of curved and wall-affected flows.
