Abstract: In calculations,x is determined from equation(1)at arbitra-ry depths h,and h and,what is_important,is considered tobe constant and independent of h .The simplicity of the givenhypothesis made it possible to overcome the difficulty of integ-rating the unsteady flow equation /2/and to develop the effecti-ve calculation methods.Stil1,up to date,no analysis of the ap-plicability conditions for the hypothesis(1)has been performed.Therefore,the following problems were to be solved in the study:
