Finite Element Modeling of Reservoir Dynamics

Abstract: A transient two-dimensional hy pothetical irregular reservoir is simulated for different wind and thermal loadings by the finite element analysis. The results reveal that b y the primitive-variable finite element formulation, the characteristics of circulating gyres and thermal structures of the reservoir dynam ics can be well pred icted.
