Abstract: Concern about the ecosystem and recreation in Quincy Bay led to a study of the sedimentation rates and patterns, the sources of sediment, and potential remedial measures. water and sediment budgets are an important part of the study and lead to a clear understanding of the complex flow patterns within the bay and connecting sloughs.
