On the Accuracy of Numerical Methods for the Two-Dimensional Shallow-Water Equations

Abstract: Two-dimensional solutions to the shallow water equations are obtained and analized. Their discretized version for an ADI method are also obtained, and used to get the propagation factor. This methodology allows the analysis of accuracy of any numerical scheme, to represent truly two-dimensional oscillations in large domains with slowly varying bathymetries.
