Abstract: Water surface elevations at a bridge crossing were computedwith HEC-2 and measured in a field survey and a physical model.thelatter reproduced correctly mean water levels and cross-streamdifferences in elevation.HEC-2 could however not be calibratedto simulate adequately average flow conditions for all flows.
