Abstract: Based on the dynamic parameters experimentally determined, permeability in unsaturated infiltration is successfully simulated as a function of water content by capillary tube model in which water columns are assumed to distribute randomly. The capillary model developed herein possibly describes the major mechanism of unsaturated infiltration of water.
