Abstract: Air-regulated siphons are ideally suited for use as storm water overflows. The paper describes such a siphon having smooth performance without hysteresis, for use in new construction, or for installation over an existing overflow weir to enhance its discharge. The unit is simple and virtually maintenance-free.
