Abstract: This paper presents a mathematical model of the major processes of the hydro logical cycle in an urban watsrshed. The model is based on the equations for free-surfacs unsteady flow: Saint-Uenant's equations for pipe flow, and the kinematic wave approximation for overland and gutter flow.
