Abstract: Urban hydrology studies by the U. S. Geological Survey (USGS) have focused on both quantity and quality of urban storm runoff. Data bases include urban flood-peak characteristics and urban stormwater quality. Special studies on stormwater detention quality and urban gaging networks are in progress.
