Abstract: A two-dimensional horizontal plane model for overland flow and pollutant transport in topographically complex watersheds is described. Flow along steepest descent stream tubes is modeled by kinematic wave theory, while pollutant transport along the stream tubes is modeled by an advection-dispersion equation. Results for an urban watershed are presented.
