Abstract: Six sections of a residential road(3"bituminous macadam over 8"lean mix concrete over 4"hoggin with a recent surface dressing of10mm granite chippings and K1-70 binder)that drain to individualinstrumented gu11y pots were irrigated along the kerb and thenover the whole road approximately month1y for a year.The aim Wasthe determination of terminal infiltration 1osses,initial losses,percentage runoff and infiltration curves for the kerb and roadsurface.The results were not as expected from the literature.
