Abstract: This work is intended to investigate the deliberate generation of mild waves on the surface of reservoirs and the use of a farm of point absorbers, floating buoys or akin technology, to convert the energy transported by the waves into a continuous injection of water flow deep inside in the riverbeds and then to counter the gravitational settlement of the sediment.
