Abstract: This experimental study aims at analysing the effect of the sediment transport ratio on the temporal evolution of bed morphology of an asymmetrical movable bed open-channel confluence by imposing three different sediment transport rates in the main channel while keeping constant the sediment supply rate in the tributary channel.
