Abstract: Water saving irrigation is a major challenge for the next years. aQysta B.V. in cooperation with the University of Southampton is currently developing a drip irrigation system which combines a novel ultra low-head hydropower converter with a very simple and effective pump using the available but unexploited hydropower potential in irrigation systems.
