Abstract: The appropriate selection of organization processes, rules, tools and techniques stolen from Project Management may boost outcomes in Projects built with Research purposes. Successful results may be achieved managing projects on their whole size. The idea of Project Management is usually related to the management of large Projects as buildings constructions, aerospace, missions and so on…and is just available for big companies. Since the nineties, in Europe, we have started to talk about Project Management for medium size and small projects. Nowadays, the most important features of a project are its innovation level, its impact on business, the attention on communication and team involvement and how easily it can be managed. The key success factor in the introduction of Project Management practices is related to the importance of the project for the company and not really to the size of the project or the company themselves. To shape and develop a Project Management Organization System we have to act on processes, culture and behaviour, methodology, software tools, communication skills, stakeholders vision integrated to the Project and on the dynamic progressions of all of them. The aim of said approach is to introduce the audience to some relevant key points useful to understand how the Project Management tools and techniques may produce best results in every kind of Project.
