Abstract: In this work simulations of a dam-break flow over a triangular obstacle were performed with the Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) method, with three different distances of the particles values. Numerical results were compared against some experimental data obtained from previous laboratory investigations, showing good agreement.
