Abstract: A tracer experiment was conducted in the Warszawicki Channel, a small lowland stream in the Mazovian Voivodeship, near Warsaw, Poland. The experiment took place during an algal bloom. Two tracer injections were carried out on two consecutive days in May 2025 – before and after removing algae from a 50 m long reach. The experiment enabled a direct comparison of transport dynamics with and without the presence of algae. The results confirmed that filamentous green algae had no substantial effect on longitudinal dispersion.
