Abstract: This paper presents a fully automated network elevation repair algorithm designed to fill in missing elevation data in Urban Drainage System (UDS) models, as the first step in designing their Digital Twins (DTs). The algorithm is developed as a tool to assist users in efficiently setting up UDS models, particularly for large, real-life networks. The process involves importing network layout from GIS database, identifying missing data, and applying the graph-theoretic algorithm to correct network elevations. The proposed methodology is tested on a part of the UDS in Belgrade. The results demonstrate algorithm’s ability to effectively correct network elevation in large stormwater and wastewater systems, significantly reducing the model’s setup time compared to manual approach, offering a practical, time-saving solution for urban drainage modelling.
