Abstract: This contribution presents canalflowmodel.net, a browser-based simulation environment for one-dimensional open-channel hydraulics and canal regulation deployed entirely in the cloud. The platform couples robust finite-volume solvers for unsteady shallow-water flow with configurable boundary conditions and PID-controlled cross and lateral gates. A storage-free ticket system enables students and instructors to configure, run and share transient test cases from any internet-connected device. A regulated test canal illustrates the tool's capabilities for visualizing flow evolution and gate operation in teaching contexts.
