Abstract: Nature-based solutions are being increasingly adopted to improve urban spaces. Within these, green roofs are one of the most used because of their multiple benefits at both the building (e. g., sound and thermal performance; real estate valuation) and city (e. g., rainwater retention and detention; noise reduction; air quality improvement; heat island effect minimization) scales. The present communication assesses the hydrologic performance, namely in terms of runoff coefficient, of a pilot installation in Trondheim, Norway.
