Research Progress in Impact of Reclaimed Water Utilization on Ecological Environment

Abstract: With the acceleration of urbanization and industrialization, Water scarcity is a growing problem. Wastewater recycling is a key way to develop and utilize unconventional water resources and ensure water environment safety and water ecological health and its potential ecological impacts are extremely complex and still unknown to a large extent. Based on extensive literature research, this paper analyzes the status quo of reclaimed water utilization and allocation at home and abroad, systematically summarizes the impact of reclaimed water utilization on ecological environment, and makes prospects and suggestions for the study of ecological environment impact of reclaimed water utilization, which provides reference for safe utilization of reclaimed water.
