Abstract: Solid-liquid shear flow at high concentration is investigated experimentally in an inclined chute. Rheological properties of the mixture are determined through measurements of particle velocity, flow depth and bulk concentration. Experimental results are compared with data obtained in shear cell viscometric experiments.
