Abstract: This paper describes the results of studies conducted on the actual condition ofthermal diffusion at a large-capacity power station and various factors which affect the dffusion of thermal discharges from the power station,onthe basis of the analysis of thermal diffusion investigation data accumulated at the Fukushima No.1 Nuclear PowerStation of Tokyo Electric Power Co.,Inc.since 1974 and the results of simulations by three-dimensional numericalmodels.
