Abstract: It is very important to timely acquire reliable information about flood hazards and disaster damage for decision making of flood fighting and dasaster relief. In the past three decades, having played an inportant role in flood hazards monitoring, remote sensing's function has still some limitations which limits benefits in application. Its potential can be brought into full play by using information integration technique which can be used to timely and precisely monitor flood hazards.
