Abstract: Water Quality models have been used in environmental impact assessment studiessince the early seventies.So far,most modelling work has been carried out bythe model constructors themselves as application of the models required detailedknowledge about the numerical code and the required mainframe computers.Thishas,to some extent,restrained a general acceptance and use of these models.
