Abstract: The behavior of plane buoyant jets issuing vertically upwards intocrossf1owing environment is presented by numerical scheme. The turbulenttransport is modelled by prandtl mixing length theory. Speading rate anddispersion ratio were investigated in terms of densimetric Froude numberand distance from the source. It was noted that a similarity hold in thedistributions of velocity and temperature normal to jet flow.
