Abstract: A two-dimensional separated flow model has been d eveloped for predicting fluid-particles turbulent two-phase flows. Thus, separate conservation equations are formulated for both phases includin g interphase interaction terms. Turbulence is modeled by means of a q~2-ε e ddy viscosity model in the continuous phase which does not account for the interaction between the two phases. Com putations have been carried out for flows across an inline tube bundle of a mixture of water and air bubbles with an emphasis on the effect of the bubble size on the void fraction distribution.
