Abstract: The results of the study of a non-mixing treatment cycle that relies on the density difference between the treated and raw water in an open cut are given. After a brief discussion of the theory involved, field data from two attempts of 1ayer formation are presented. Data from the destratification of the open cut is also presented and efficiences ca lculated.
