Abstract: The poster represents a post-event analysis of the hydraulic and mechanical behavior of selective check dams filters. In the poster there are four examples that show the relationship between the dimensions of the filter and the size of the material retained by the dam following intense events due to the interaction between the mechanical packing effect and the hydraulic behavior of check dams.
