Abstract: Wastewater treatment plants generate large volumes of operational data and often siloed, making it challenging to share while preserving sovereignty and enabling cross-domain collaboration. This work implements a data space layer using Eclipse Data Components (EDC) to enable secure, sovereign, and interoperable data exchange. Sovereign operational data were shared to support predictive modeling, dashboards, and digital twin development. The pilot demonstrated real-time synchronization, low latency, and policy compliance, offering a scalable framework for optimized WWTP operations.
