About
The University of Donja Gorica (UDG) was established in February 2010 in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, as a private higher education institution. It includes 12 faculties, 18 study programs and over 300 engaged professors, associates and researches. UDG offers a unique combination of multi-disciplinary expertise and proactive approach to exponential change of technological and business environment in the world. UDG is aspiring to become a regional leader in organizing events that promote research, innovation and entrepreneurship. UDG puts a significant emphasis on the development of entrepreneurship as well as its promotion among students and youth in general. UDG has developed strategic and project partnership with major Montenegrin companies such as “13. jul Plantaze” (major wine and brandy producer in the region), Azmont Investments, Meat Industry Goranovic, Lazine (dairy products), and others. Beside Bachelor studies, UDG offers postgraduate and doctoral studies which complement 3 cycles of studies. In 2022, UDG joins Global Alliance and Partners with America’s most innovative university, Arizona State University, to become center for innovation, transformation, and internationalization in the Balkans region. This partnership significantly improves the quality of higher education and the opportunities that will be open for young people from across the region.
